Adding domains to the monitored domains list

In order to start monotoring a domain, you have two options.

Look up the domain from the web interface

Look up the domain using the API

Either way, if the domain exists it will be added to the list of domains we will monitor.

How often is a domain checked

Domains are checked by our workers in a cycle. When we select a domain to check we simply choose the one that has waited the longest for a update Therefore the more domains that exists in our database the longer time between checks.

Increasing monitor interval

If you for example want to use our API to send alerts when DNS or security headers chages you can add domains to your own monitor list in the web dashboard. If you do this we will check the domain every 24 hours.
